A good variety of exciting activities, beautiful landscapes, friendly people, a good hotel, reliable weather and tasty food (lots of fresh fruit and veg). Many many cats.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
Running off the the rugged cliff side to soar above the town of Kas and look down at the sea and islands... With the help of a paragliding canopy of course! Seeing a stunning river and canyon from the inside. The only way to see it! Meeting our group and guide, who were all lovely. We had loads of fun :-)
What did you think of your group leader?
Our guide was very experienced, spoke good English and always put safety first. He knew the local area very well and took us to some great restaurants.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Be prepared for an action-packed trip with a few challenges. Make sure you bring the right kit (read the trip notes) and be careful with scuba diving if you've had a cold! Learn some basic Turkish if you can as the locals seem to appreciate the effort.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
This trip left us with some new friends and some great memories. Our group are already talking about doing another Exodus trip as a reunion. I also discovered activities I would like to try again. I shall be doing some more paragliding and abseiling if I get the chance!

This was a amazing holiday. We were looking for more than sitting on a beach and we certainly got that. A good mix of activities, relaxing by the pool, good food, gettig to know your group and the odd party or two with the locals!

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
The most inspiring moment of the trip was jumping off a 9m high rock into a canyon pool (this was an optional jump)! Great fun! The canyoning was by far the best activity, finding the courage (thanks to the guide Maho) to backflip off a jump was another high/low/upside-down point!
What did you think of your group leader?
Maho. What can I say about Maho. He was certainly unique! At first he was very intense, encouraging us to enjoy the nightlife of Kas a bit more than us reserved Brits were ready for. However by the end of the week I couldn't imagine not having him there. He made the trip for me and the rest of the group. He selected the best restaurants, bars and clubs and added his own indervidual twist to every night. I don't think I will ever forget Maho.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

Do all the activites and really go for it. During the canyoning there are a lot of optional jumps, you should do them all, such an adventure! Also forget about getting a tan, sun burnt skin and wet suits/harnesses/lifejackets do not mix! Wear lots of sunscreen and/or a t-shirt and enjoy yourself!

The Optional activities are a must. The paragliding was fantastic, very professional and safe and the view was breathtaking!

Is there anything else you would like to add?
We met some amazing people on this holiday. Our group got on so well, it was like we had known each other for years by the end of the week. Doing the activities really brings you closer to the other people on the trip so be prepared to make plenty of friends!

This was one of the best holidays i have ever been on. There was six people in our group and we all bonded extreamly well and have kept in contact. The activities are challenging and enjoyable. The Canyoning day is tough but you get such a buzz when you have finished it.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

I found the people to be the most inspirational part of this trip. Everyone was so friendly and willing to help each other. The guides were very knowledgable and willing to go into detail about the culture and surroundings.

What did you think of your group leader?
Maho "The Turkish Rambo" was a very good group leader, he always made sure that we knew what we were doing and made sure we were prepared with the correct equiptment. He took us to different restaurants each night, all of which were amazing. He made the whole trip very enjoyable.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Remember to take a ten pound note to the airport for the visa as they do not accept change and they do not accept the payment in Lira. Definitely remember lots of sun lotion and a waterproof backpack for the canyoning day.
Is there anything else you would like to add?

I wish i could do it again!

When I read other reviews on this site saying how great this trip was I thought they must be exaggerating, but they weren't. I had the most fantastic time and can't recommend it enough!

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
Everyone talks about canyoning as being the highlight of the trip, and from an activity point of view it really was the most exhilarating and challenging part of the holiday, but a word must also go out to the tubing and especially the mud bath. We laughed a lot and the photos provide a hilarious lasting memory. We really bonded as a group and enjoyed some fun meals and some great nights out in Kas.
What did you think of your group leader?
Initially, I wasn't sure about Maho. He seemed very nonchalant and disinterested in us but actually he was an amazing group leader. Most importantly, safety was his number one priority and his experience really showed on the kayaking and canyoning days in particular. I never worried about anything other than having fun, as with Maho I always felt safe. He took us to some great restaurants and we got loads of free food and drinks because we were with him. He certainly likes to party and the other reviews on this site that describe him as 'crazy' are certainly not far from the truth. Even if we had an early night, Maho generally didn't. But by the end of the week our group gained a huge amount of respect for Maho and we have since been known to describe him as a 'legend'. Love him or loathe him, he will certainly make your holiday memorable.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Do everything you get the opportunity to so, or you will regret it. The paragliding, the biggest jump in the canyon, everything... Sunglasses strings were really useful as was waterproof (or very high water resistant as its now called) sun cream. I bought some spray stuff in Boots at the airport and ended up lending it to everyone else. As you're in and out the water all the time, its really easy to get burnt. A cloth hat or bandana for kayaking/walking is a good idea. A few nice-ish tops (ie a notch up on the stuff you'd happily ruin) for the evenings are worth throwing into your suitcase if you have space.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Just a fantastic trip! Kas is a great place, and the locals were really welcoming. There are some nice beach restaurants if you walk left or right from the harbour - good for the 'free' day if you need to relax. The hotel pool is pleasant enough and our group often enjoyed a post activity drink by the pool, chatting about the events of the day. There was an Exodus walking group on our flight and staying in the same hotel so it was nice to swap stories and chat to other people at breakfast etc. It truly was a great trip, I only wish it could have lasted longer!

Overall I did enjoy the holiday; the activities were great, professionally run and catered for all standards. The only disappointment for me was the first day where the tubing was for no apparant reason an 'extra'' and the trek was fairly half-hearted and dull. The cycling, sea kayaking, canyoning and the swing seat by the pool on the opening night were the highlights for me.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

Cycling downhill at an indecent speed - overtaking cars on slippy hairpins on the way.

What did you think of your group leader?
He was fantastic during the daytime - very knowledgable and professional.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Don't expect much sleep - suits vodka lovers..
Is there anything else you would like to add?

Like all these trips, the group you are lumped in with are the key to a 5 star experience - Unfortunately, despite a couple of honourable and delightful exceptions, I'm afraid my experience only merits a score of 3 (not exodus' fault!!!)

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
I liked just about all of it,, great memories!
What did you think of your group leader?
Ali was very professional about the whole trip! Going out for Group Dinner was fine but always too late in the evening for me! Just my thing about eating late so don't let that put you off!
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Pass on the diving if you've done any diving previously.  We we're promised the best diving in the whole Med with great drop offs etc but where the Dive Leader took us was nothing other than mud flats with carefully placed old jugs and vases to make it look authentic,,, worst dive I've ever been on!
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Other than the diving, its was a great holiday even though it was different to what was advertised in the brochure! There was probably some clause that said check the website for latest intinery but I was quite happy to go with the flow. Definately go on this holiday if you like doing stuff thats exciting but not too taxing!

Great trip, very varied with a different activity every day.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

My favorite individual part of the holiday was the scuba diving, a little bit apprehensive beforehand, but the intructors were excellent providing a bit of tuition beforehand and being close at hand whilst under the water. the time spent under the water was superb, only downside is as a try diver your actual scuba dive only lasts about 20 minutes, which flies by when your under the water. However there is also the boat trip out to the dive site to enjoy. As a full days activity the canyoning activity was superb, it was a long and pretty tiring day, but fantastic experience.

The only day that was perhaps a bit lacking was the first day, the Saklikent gorge is a bit of a non event, however at this location you can go tubing which made up for this.

What did you think of your group leader?

Excellent group leader, very friendly and sociable. Knew the town of Kas and the local people very well which was really helpful. The itinerary is also not stuck to rigidly, hence if you have a day or two of dodgy weather they will reorganise the activities so you get the most appropriate weather for each.

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
You do need boots, with grip, for the canyoning day, this activity basically involves walking, wading, jumping and swimming though a canyon river all day, so you are likely to pick up a few bumps and scratches. Cycling gloves for the mountain biking are also a must, some of the bike handle bar grips were rock hard.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
This is an excellent trip to try a host of activities, have to say everyday and all of the activities were excellent. Optional extras worth considering, definitely the tubing on the first day (rafting down a river in large tyre basically). The paragliding was excellent but quite expensive, think perhaps I wished i'd used the free day to get another diving session in instead.
