Itineraries can and do change for all manner of unavoidable reasons. Some of the areas that we visit have been affected by powerful hurricanes in past years, damage from which has resulted in itinerary changes. We will always try and maintain the integrity of the tour as much as possible, but please be aware that adverse weather may affect tours in this region in the future.
This trip includes several long drives and you should be prepared for this.
Border crossings can sometimes be delayed with significant queues and formalities.
Being in the tropics, most of the region is hot and humid, particularly during the summer months and inland - drinking plenty of water and dressing in loose cotton clothing will help.

Where you stay is a crucial part of a holiday, and we have gone to great lengths to find accommodation that provides extra comfort, character, convenience and value. Five-star hotels won’t feature on the agenda, but itineraries guarantee a greater degree of comfort after your day’s efforts.
