A true Icelandic experience: icecaps, geysers, optional whale watching and more

Iceland is a country like no other, with exceptional landscapes and geographical phenomena.
We circumnavigate the country to experience the natural wonders of its incredible geology. The huge natural forces at work here need little introduction and have left the land dotted with fissures, powerful volcanoes, geysers and lava flows, old and new, that make Iceland an unforgettable destination. The scenery is an enthralling mix of towering peaks, rolling grassland, black volcanic desert, huge ice caps and tumbling glaciers - all of which we explore thoroughly on our circular route.
Sightseeing is generally done on foot and there are some optional walks to stretch the legs.
From the waterspouts and glaciers of southern Iceland to the volcanic landscape of the north, this trip allows us to see first hand the raw power and beauty of Mother Nature at work.
What makes this trip responsible?
We use a locally based operator and have established a long-term partnership, assisting with local staff training in all aspects of their jobs, thereby investing in the people to help improve their knowledge and future prospects. During the trip we visit a number of national parks; we also see traditional crafts made at source ensuring that any money for purchases goes straight to the local community.
