What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
The whole country is inspirational. it was wonderful to drive around and see so much. Every time you drove around a corner, there was another spectacular sight. it was fantastic to have the chance of getting out of the bus and walk around and experience the countryside.
Dave Kelly is an inspiring leader. He has a love of the country which taught the rest of us to love the country. he does go the extra mile to ensure we all have the opportunity to appreciate all we saw.

I really loved Iceland. The whole country was amazing. Each day was better than the Last. All the places we stayed were wonderfull especially he place near the beach by the mountain that was used in Journey to the centre of the earth. The food was wonderfull, he is a great cook. The best part for me was the 24hr daylight I have been on many trips around the world but this was the best.
very pleasant, very experienced , very knowlegeable, good at organising the group and adapting if the itenerary had to be changed
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
even in 24 hour daylight, on a mild day, Iceland is NOT warm. take warm clothes. Forget the strappy tops.
Very little grows in iceland - especially food. If you like vegetables and fruit, think of taking a few tins along with you. There is very little variety and what there is, is Very Expensive.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
We would have liked to spend more time in Lake Myvatn and less in Akureyri, where there really was very little to do apart from catch up with one's diary! We hope that Exodus take this on board for future trips.
Waterfalls, volcanoes, ice lagoon and volcanic springs. I loved it all!

Although the entire holiday was pretty much perfect for me one highlight was a walk up a volcano near Lake Myvatn. At the summit you could see steam rising between the rocks. It was truly awe inspiring. Other highlights included all the waterfalls we visited, the blue lagoon (which i enjoyed far more than i thought i would) and the ice lagoon. The whole area surrounding Lake Myvatn was beautiful. I'd wanted to visit iceland ever since studying geology years ago, so for me it was a dream come true.
Our group leader (Petur) was very knowledgable and was also great fun, entertaining us all on many occasions. Although the lunches were limited and became somewhat monotonous by the end of the holiday he always made an effort to add something unique and icelandic to the menu, so you got to try something new most days. The pickled herring bacame very popular!
All in all, our guide couldn't have been better. Also, i should also mention our driver (Amundi) who was also great. We broke down in the middle of nowhere and within minutes he was under the bus trying to fix it.

Put simply Iceland is breathtaking! I can't recommend enough this holiday enough. There might be some minor negative points but the positives far outweight those.
