What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
The opportunity to really challenge myself - especially with kayaking and canyoning - great!
I also really loved slovenian countryside and biking and running in the mountains.
What did you think of your group leader?
Blaz was awesome - everything was organised excellently from start to finish. He did really well to build in flexibility too.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
The hotel was excellent. The guy that owns Hotel Jazbec couldnt have been more accommodating - he really went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we had a good stay.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
The scenery in Slovenia was amazing and the kindness and hospitality from the hotel owner was fabulous
What did you think of your group leader?
Blaz was a great group leader, very knowledgable about Slovenia, its history and the river Soca.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Enjoy the trip as goes very quickly!

Fantastic introduction to whitewater sports!

This is a great trip with lots of different activities thrown in to make sure you never get bored. The Slovenian Alps are stunning and the emerald river on which we did most of the activities is straight out of Narnia (literally - one of the movies was filmed here).

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
Hydrospeeding is the most fun you can have in whitewater...assuming you're a strong swimmer and don't mind a few bruises. It's the nearest you get to being part of the river itself.
What did you think of your group leader?
All the guides were excellent and spoke great English. They were all super competent on water and made everyone feel safe at all times even if they were total beginners.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Be prepared for some of the activities to be a little tame if you have done them before - this is very much a total beginners trip!! It is possible to book more advanced kayaking and canyoning later on in the week though if you haven't had enough adrenaline.
Take sunscreen and use it! Be prepared for the fact that the water is very cold even if it's very warm on dry land.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Make the most of the free day. If you're feeling really energetic you can hike up Mt. Krn, which is the tallest mountain in the region and dominates the valley. There is a hut near the top selling drinks and snacks and the views are unparalleled by anything else on the trip - even if you decide to go paragliding, which is also an excellent addition.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
Being winched down a waterfall, doing an eskimo roll going down some rapids, the beautiful Slovenian countryside.
What did you think of your group leader?
Really cool, cute and made feel really confident in his ability to keep me safe.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
You're going to love it.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Hotel owner Jazbec was friendly and funny too.

The ability to meet like-minded people with a full itinerary of white water activities - made me feel alive!

What did you think of your group leader?
Several group leaders because of various activities. Well organised, enthusiastic and put the group's needs as a priority.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Be prepared for some bruises - but safety was a very high consideration for group leaders.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
One of the best holidays I've ever been on! It was such a wonderful group of people, who 'bonded' and supported each other through the activities. Many of us have kept in touch after the holiday.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
Seeing the moutains and hillsides that we would be travelling into. The Julian Alps are a magnificent site! Also the Boka Waterfall and the 44 foot waterfall that we could have abseiled - frightning but unfortunately the water current was too strong.

What did you think of your group leader?
We had a hotel owner who organises the activity week with two guides. It was very basic introductions and we hardly saw her after that. The guides were great though. Unfortunatley Peter was ill most of the week so couldn't do the activities with us. Urban was extremely saftey concious and made you feel beyond safe despite the experience that is canyoning!
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Use your day off to walk around the local area - theres enough sites and walks to keep you throughally entertained. We went during Bovec day which was a nice local event that brought out very nice market stalls.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Its a shame it did not have a guide that stayed and ate with you all week (like the Lycian activity week) as that really seems to bond the group together. As all meals were paid for in hotel, made people releuctant to eat together and the group only stayed together for each activity.

What did you think of your group leader?
Both our group leaders, for whitewater rafting and kayaking, paragliding and canyoning, were reliable and nice. Safety was always top priority.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Whitewater kayaking was for me the most exciting activity, but it is demanding and you need to be really fit. You should not be overweigh for caving, as there are some extremely narrow passages. Hydrospeed is difficult and may even be dangerous if you hit a rock. Have dinner at restaurants nearby hotel Alp that have good food and are cheap.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
We had showers the first days, so it was tough. The holiday became deflinitely better with fine weather.
