Travel is by minibus and horse and cart. Good level of fitness required for walks.

Reality Check
Walking times will vary from an afternoons sightseeing to half or full days walking.
There are numerous up hill sections on paths and tracks and distances walked are up to 15km with optional longer walks sometimes available.
The trip goes up to altitudes of 1450m from its starting point at 750m, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.
The trip is graded: Moderate.

Normally 4 to 15, plus leader. Minimum age 16.
Misc
Bear Hides
On the summer departures (May-Oct.) there may be the opportunity to visit a bear hide. In the evening you will be taken to a wooden hide in the forest to look for bears. Although there is a good possibility of seeing bears it is not guaranteed. This option is subject to availability and permission from the park authorities, therefore it is organised and paid for locally (approx. 40 Euros).
