East African adventure with excellent game viewing and exotic Zanzibar

Kenya and Tanzania are magical destinations with stunning scenery, abundant wildlife and diverse cultures. From Nairobi we head into the Great Rift Valley: here the two parks of Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru are home to an incredible variety of birds and wildlife including the endangered rhino and elusive leopard plus, in season, a million flamingoes. We include a walk along the Crater Lake and a visit to Elsamere, former home of Joy Adamson. In Tanzania we have spectacular game drives in the Serengeti and explore the Ngorongoro Crater by 4WD. From our base in Moshi we have a variety of optional visits including a challenging hike to Mongyoni Falls. Finally we head to the spice island of Zanzibar, a tropical backwater with beautiful white sandy beaches, a relaxing way to end a fascinating trip.

Smokeless Stoves in Tanzania
We are proud to be in partnership with Plan UK to help fund a project to make smokeless stoves accessible to people in the Geita District of Tanzania. Smokeless stoves not only use less firewood than open fires but also greatly benefit the health of the local people, particularly the women and children. Exodus is donating GBP£21,697 to install 140 smokeless stoves in seven villages and train 70 members of the community to ensure sustainability. With client donations we hope to be able to scale up the project and help even more villages in the future.
