A superb trip across Kenya and Tanazania with 4WD game drives in the Masai Mara and Ngorogoro Crater

Kenya and Tanzania offer some of the best game experiences in Africa. After time at the Elsamere Estate, former home of Joy Adamson, we head to the Masai Mara with its abundant wildlife including elephant, giraffe, antelope, lion and the elusive leopard. Travelling by 4WD the game viewing here, and in Tanzania's Ngorogoro Crater, is a real highlight of the trip. The smaller park of Amboseli also offers great wildlife viewing as well as, on a clear day, superb views of Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak.

We head to the spice island of Zanzibar to end our trip. There is time here to discover the vibrant markets, relax on the golden beaches and snorkel in the crystal clear waters.

Day 1	Depart London.
Day 2	Arrive Nairobi; through Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha; afternoon visit to Elsamere.
Day 3	To spectacular Masai Mara.
Day 4	Full day 4WD game drives in Masai Mara.
Day 5	Return to Lake Naivasha.
Day 6	Long drive to Namanga.
Day 7	Full day game drives in Amboseli N.P. with views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day 8	Early morning game drive; cross border into Tanzania; to Arusha; optional camel ride or visit to Maasai museum.
Day 9	To Ngorogoro Crater; afternoon 4WD crater game drive.
Day 10	Game drive to Lake Manyara N.P.
Day 11	To Moshi via snake park; optional fairtrade coffee tour, visit local school or village.
Day 12	Long drive along edge of Usambara Mountains to Dar-Es-Salaam.
Day 13	Morning ferry to Zanzibar.
Day 14 - 15	Relax on Zanzibar's beaches and discover Stone Town.
Day 16	Depart Zanzibar.
Day 17	Arrive London.
