A combination of the Classic Kenya Safari and the Kilimanjaro Climb - Rongai Route

Zebra in sunrise, Masai Mara

Enjoy two of the major highlights of East Africa: our stalwart safari in Kenya, see abundant wildlife alongside proud Masai warriors, all from the comfort of our luxury bush camp.

Crossing the border into Tanzania, Kilimanjaro looms majestically in the distance, and this is our goal. We will spend the next six days winding our way through a variety of habitats before reaching the ice fields and finally the summit of the highest mountain in Africa.

What makes this trip responsible?

Responsible Travel

Aitong School Project

Exodus, with the support of Friends of Conservation, supports a school project at Aitong, 30 minutes from our camp in the Masai Mara. In the last year we have helped build 3 new classrooms and there are plans to build a perimeter fence and equip a clinic for the village. Your support of this project will help improve the standards for all the residents of this village.

Tanzania Porter Education Project

During the long rains (April-June), the non-trekking season, Exodus supports a project to teach English to its porters and other local staff. Being able to converse with clients in English is an essential skill and this successful initiative has enabled porters to become cooks, assistant guides and even chief guides. With your support our aim is to develop this programme further in the future and provide continued education to our porters during times when work is limited. These skills can also help with employment opportunities for our guides, who can also work as teachers and/or classroom assistants.
