Reality Check
Unlike our Libyan Desert Explorer trip, we try and keep travelling down to a minimum on this trip. We will be using a comfortable air-conditioned mini-bus throughout the trip. Surfaced roads are generally in good condition. We take two internal flights so there are no long journeys.
You must be aware that Libyan culture is different to that in the western world, please read the 'What to Pack' section towards the end of the trip notes carefully and follow your leaders requests in honouring local traditions and dress.
Please also see our visas section (in the Trip Notes). Libya has only recently opened its borders to tourism and there are still some restrictions with regard to entering the country.
This trip has been graded as grade A (leisurely.) Leisurely grade trips are suitable for all clients with average health and fitness. No experience of any activity involved is necessary.
Group size and age
Min. 8, max. 18, plus leader. Minimum age 18.
Icons explained
The vast majority of Exodus adventures are adult group holidays. Groups are always small in size. We strongly believe that this adherence to small groups means a better experience for all; more time with your guide, less waiting around and a reduced impact on the communities and environments visited.
Each group is generally made up of like-minded travellers - with singles, couples and friends all joining in together.
All these trips are suitable for single travellers, but if you prefer to travel with clients booking individually, please
see our Solo Departures page.
Leisurely grade trips are designed for people who are in good health and enjoy the outdoors.
Culture: Let Exodus show you a different side to many of the world's greatest cultural attractions.
Special Interest: For those who have a passion for archaeology, food, flowers, languages or yoga. Solar eclipse departures and specialist conservation holidays are also included.
