Reality Check
This is an excellent trip for wildlife, scenery and a taste of life in Namibia and Botswana, with a varied and active itinerary.
To pack so much into a short time, some drives are long, and some of the roads are quite poor and bumpy. We include breaks for toilet facilities, shopping, photos and meals.
The spectacular scenery and glimpses of village life when travelling make the journeys more enjoyable but come prepared with a sense of adventure and a sense of humour for a holiday of a lifetime.
It is a hands on experience with all trips being participatory, here you can get a real feel for camping in Africa, putting up your own tents and helping with all of the camp chores, including cooking in the great outdoors.
Normal group size and age
Normally 8 to 20, plus leader, driver and cook. Minimum age 18.
Icons explained
The vast majority of Exodus adventures are adult group holidays. Groups are always small in size. We strongly believe that this adherence to small groups means a better experience for all; more time with your guide, less waiting around and a reduced impact on the communities and environments visited.
Each group is generally made up of like-minded travellers - with singles, couples and friends all joining in together.
All these trips are suitable for single travellers, but if you prefer to travel with clients booking individually, please
see our Solo Departures page.
Designed for people who are in good health, enjoy the outdoors and want a relaxing trip packed with interest.
Mixed Activities: Activities may range from the ordinary (for example walking, cycling or whitewater rafting) to the damn right extraordinary (including caving, camel riding or canyoning).
