Experience Northern Madagascar's unusual scenery, unique wildlife and stunning beaches

Less-visited than the south, northern Madagascar offers spectacular scenery, incredible wildlife and superb beaches.
The flora and fauna in the Montagne d'Ambre National Park is phenomenal, and we spend a full day in the volcanic massif and dry forests on the lookout for wildlife. This park is home to a dozen species of lemurs, including the Crowned lemur and the world's largest primate, the Aye-aye. Ankarana Special Reserve, with its magnificent scenery of ruby-red tsingy, is truly unique, and our time here is a real highlight.
In addition to lemurs, this park is home to 14 species of bats and over 90 species of birds. We end our trip with time on the island of Nosy Be - a tropical paradise of sandy beaches and sparkling turquoise waters.
We include visits to the protected marine reserve of Nosy Tanikely, and the Lokobe Reserve, for a final chance to spot lemurs, as well as allowing plenty of time to relax and soak up the beauty of the island.
What makes this trip responsible?
This trip employs local leaders and staff through all aspects of the trip whenever possible. We use predominantly locally owned and run accommodation on this trip and many local restaurants and shops are also used to purchase items throughout this trip which benefits the local community.
We pay the mandatory park fees which contribute to conservation of the parks and surrounding areas.
