Madagascar is genuinely different. It is home to countless endemic species of flora and fauna and has some spectacular scenery. This adventurous itinerary includes some incredible walking in an extraordinary array of landscapes: high altitude rainforest, mountains, arid desert and spiny forest, as well as amongst some amazing rock formations in Isalo National Park. One of the real highlights is venturing to Morondava and travelling by 4WD to see sunset at the famous Alley of Baobabs and the Tsingy of Bemaraha - home to truly unique wildlife and spectacular scenery, the bumpy journey is undoubtedly worth it . With at least 80% of the plantlife and reptiles endemic to the island, each day offers the chance to discover something new. A full itinerary and an amazing opportunity to see the beautiful, yet endangered, lemurs.

MADAGASCAN DISCOVERER
Day 1 Start Antananarivo; to Andasibe, visiting private nature reserve en route; nocturnal walk in search of lemurs.
Day 2 Full day trek in Perinet and Mantadia N.P.
Day 3 To Antsirabe with local village visits.
Day 4 Morning city tour and exploration of local lakes; to Fianarantsoa.
Day 5 Visit to local market and town; to Ranohira.
Day 6 Full day trek in Isalo N.P. visiting Monkey Canyon and the amazing natural swimming pools.
Day 7 To west coast and beaches.
Day 8 Fly to Morondava; time to explore local beaches or swim.
Day 9 4WD drive crossing river to Bekopaka.
Day
10 - 11		 Visit Vazimba Tombs; trekking in Petits and Grands Tsingy.
Day 12 4WD to Morondava; enjoy sunset at famous alley of baobabs.
Day 13 Free morning; fly to Antananarivo.
Day 14 Morning city tour; free afternoon.
Day 15 End Antananarivo.
