Namibia has acquired a reputation that it deserves. The tour was great and culminated in a superb time in Etosha National Park.

Great holiday. Camping for dummies. Great food, good company and fantastic scenery and wildlife. I was a little sceptical not having done a camping trip before but it was 4* camping with good site facilities. Lots of long drives so take a book but so worth it. Air Namibia is not exactly generous with leg room or services and they wont be getting any brownie points but the camp team worked very hard and got a good balance of activities and breaks. Some activities quite demanding physically, the dune walks, climb to the plateau and sand boarding were quite tough but great views. Some people found the early ams and busy schedule a bit gruelling but on safari there is time to relax in the middle of the day. Will go down in my memory as one of the greats but dont tell everyone or it will end up being touristy and that would never do as its so nice to get away from people and drink inthe best nature has to offer. Thanks exodus it was great!

This holiday was made by being with a really great bunch of people and having a superb tour guide in Murray Lewis. He was good humoured, efficient and very knowledgable about all things Namibian and to do with wildlife. With his background he ought to be; and he was.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

Going on the optional walvis bay dolphin boat trip.I thought it was going to be quite boring but was astounded by the different amount of marine life we saw, from pelicans& cormorants to seals by the hundreds & dolphins. But the crowning glory was seeing a southernwright whale & its calf plus seeing the classic whale scene of its tail fin rising out of the water with water streaming off it.Etosha was amazing, all youcould ever think it would be & a bit more.Plus of course the dunes & in particular hidden vlei.So peaceful.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

Having wanted to go to Africa for years but always thought Kenya was too on the tourist map and needing so many jabs and not being a lover of needles I thought I'd never get to go.  But after seeing "Animal Park : Wild if Africa" and "Big Cat Diary" on the TV and the sheer mix of all the main animals you'd want to see especially the Cheetahs I decided it was time to go see it for myself and Namibia seemed a good place to start.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

It is difficult to isolate one part as the whole tour was spectacular... the camping, the walking, the wildlife and the scenery were far better than I could have anticipated. But, to choose, one inspirational moment would be climbing Dune 45 in a strong wind and baking heat with views across the desert landscape, feeling part of a group of people doing something that most people don't do, can't do or wouldn't do.... a lasting memory.
