Cape Town is widely recognised as one of the most beautiful cities in the world and offers a huge range of possibilities to suit all tastes. In addition to Table Mountain and the world-famous wine estates of Stellenbosch, the wild coastline and rugged interior provide classic scenery, history and unique flora. The trip includes some unusual wildlife encounters in the form of penguins and an abundance of birds and whales (in season). From Cape Town and Stellenbosch we explore the lush wine estates, Du Toit Mountains, superb beaches and some of the finest national parks, while in the evenings there is plenty of time to relax and enjoy a good meal on the Cape Town Waterfront or in some of the great wine estates.

| Day 2 | Arrive Cape Town; transfer to Stellenbosch. After lunch drive to Paarl for a short walk among large granite domes. |
| Day 3 | Drive to Du Toits Mountains for walk among towering peaks. Visit Franschoek Valley for lunch and wine tasting. |
| Day 4 | Visit the enchanting Vergelegen Estate in Helderberg wine district. More wine tasting and optional lunch at Lanzerac Estate. |
| Day 5 | Drive to Hermanus for a two-hour walk in the Fernkloof Nature Reserve; walk along the coastal path with possible whale watching (in season); to Cape Town. |
| Day 6 | Visit penguin colony at Boulders Beach; optional hike along the Atlantic Coast Shipwreck Trail in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. |
| Day 7 | Walk through Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and hike to top of Table Mountain. |
| Day 8 | Free day for relaxation or optional half day Langa Township Tour; afternoon optional visit to Hout Bay for a Seal Island cruise. |
| Day 9 | Free morning for last-minute shopping or optional trip to Robben Island. Depart evening. |
