Cape Town is widely recognised as one of the most beautiful cities in the world and offers a huge range of possibilities to suit all tastes. In addition to Table Mountain and the world-famous wine estates of Stellenbosch, the wild coastline and rugged interior provide classic scenery, history and unique flora. The trip includes some unusual wildlife encounters in the form of penguins and an abundance of birds and whales (in season). From Cape Town and Stellenbosch we explore the lush wine estates, Du Toit Mountains, superb beaches and some of the finest national parks, while in the evenings there is plenty of time to relax and enjoy a good meal on the Cape Town Waterfront or in some of the great wine estates.

| Day 4 | Free day for relaxation or optional half day Langa township tour; afternoon optional visit to Hout Bay. |
| Day 5 | Visit penguin colony at Boulders beach; optional hike along Atlantic Coast Shipwreck Trail in Cape of Good Hope Reserve. |
| Day 6 | Drive to Hermanus for two-hour walk in Fernkloof Nature Reserve; walk along coastal path with possible whale watching (in season); to Stellenbosch. |
| Day 7 | Visit enchanting Vergelegen Estate in Helderberg wine district; more wine tasting and optional lunch at Lanzerac Estate. |
| Day 8 | Drive to Du Toits Mountains for walk among towering peaks; visit Franschoek valley for lunch and wine tasting. |
| Day 9 | Morning visit to Paarl for short walk among large granite domes; afternoon Stellenbosch tour; evening depart. |
