Snowshoeing: Ramsau

Day 1
Fly to Salzburg; transfer to Ramsau (approx. 1hr).

Day 2 - 7
Five guided snowshoe day walks, plus one free day. (BD)

We prefer not to specify in advance exactly where we will walk each day. This is to enhance the flexibility and adapt to weather and snow conditions and to some extent the ability of each group. When choosing routes, the leader's priority will be to take in a variety of scenery and to ensure everyone's safety.

Possible routes include going up to the Tuerlwand, with the Dachstein as wonderful back drop; the Kulmberg trail for panoramas of the Tauern; the Sonnen Plateau; or the strenuous Peter-Rosegger-Steig. All routes offer great views and some opportunities for coffee breaks.
We will start our walks from Ramsau itself whenever possible; on some days we may use local transport to get to our start point or from our end point back to the hotel.

Day 8
Transfer to Salzburg; fly to London Gatwick.
