Exciting winter activities from our private chalet in the heart of the Alps

The Mont Blanc region justifiably lays claim to some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the world, and is a stunning setting for our week of activities. Both Italy and Switzerland border the Chamonix Valley, making this a truly international trip. We are based for the week at the Hotel Couronne in Argentiere, a popular base for winter enthusiats with exciting downhill runs not far from the hotel door.
From our comfortable hotel we enjoy a range of fun activities including snowshoe walking, tobogganing, cross-country skiing in both classic and skating style, dogsledding, ice-skating, riding the Mont Blanc Express train and also visiting a St. Bernard dog kennels.
There will be time to explore the town of Chamonix and there is a wide range of optional activities on your free day.
Hotel Couronne, Chamonix
New for 2012/2013 - this trip will be run from the Hotel Couronne, although earlier reviews refer to our previous accommodation and leader they still reflect the activities and beauty of the Chamonix Valley.
