- Discover remote and uncrowded Queyras Regional Park
- Snowshoe from three charming mountain gites
- Admire spectacular snow-covered landscapes
The relatively undiscovered Queyras Regional Park is the destination for a memorable alpine trek through dramatic landscapes and breathtaking vistas of sparkling snowfields, towering pine forests and rugged mountain peaks. This challenging trek takes us up to remote plateaux and ridges only accessible by those on snowshoes or skis, and we follow a route that is considered one of the best snowshoe treks in the whole of the Alps.
We complete our week with a free day in Saint Véran to either relax or try many other exciting optional winter activities.
Book this trip back to back with a week in the Nevache Valley (Trip Code: CYA) and you can claim GBP100 of your total trip prices.
What makes this trip responsible?
We use local leaders to help preserve the way of life in their area and offer regular training so they can also educate our travellers on how to be more responsible. We search out the quieter corners of the Queyras National Park with snowshoes and are able to pass through areas where development and facilities are few. By visiting this remote area, we offer mountain communities alternative low impact forms of winter tourism. Our groups will visit remote mountain huts for cake and drink stops helping to support the economy of this remote community.
