Outstanding Pyrenean winter scenery on our original snowshoe holiday

This is where our snowshoeing programme was born. Over twelve years ago we started to entice our summer walkers back to enjoy this area's stunning winter scenery on snowshoes. The valleys and ridges around the French spa town of Luchon are perfect for winter exploration, and our series of tried and tested daywalks take in the best views of the area as we climb to a ridge or small peak each day. Even with limited snow conditions when snowshoes are not necessary, we will still be able to explore and experience spectacular winter walking. Our base is La Feniere, a cosy mountain lodge, ten minutes drive from Luchon, and with superb views of the highest peaks in the area.

Here at Exodus we feel the need to offer our clients an alternative to air travel within Europe and to destinations where taking the train can be a viable alternative to flying.

Working in cooperation with Rail Europe, our sales team will be happy to reserve your seats and tickets can be booked 3 months prior right up until the day of departure, subject to availability. Suggested train times and further information can be found within the Trip Notes.

Itinerary

Day 1	Fly from Gatwick to Toulouse (15.05 - 17.45); transfer to Luchon (under 2 hours).
Day 2 - 4	Three snowshoe walks.
Day 5	Free day for relaxation or optional activities including downhill or paragliding.
Day 6 - 7	Two further snowshoe walks.
Day 8	Transfer back to Toulouse. Fly from Toulouse to Gatwick (18.25 - 19.15).
