Pyrenees Winter Walk & Snowshoe

This is where our snowshoeing programme was born. Over sixteen years ago we started to entice our summer walkers back to enjoy this area's stunning winter scenery on snowshoes. The valleys and ridges around the French spa town of Luchon are perfect for winter exploration, and our series of tried and tested daywalks take in the best views of the area as we climb to a ridge or small peak each day. Whether it is through deep snow in the highs of the season or at the end of the winter when snow may only coat the higher stretches, each day takes us on exciting walks through unique Pyrenean mountain scenery. Our base is La Feniére, a cosy mountain lodge nestling in the Vall?e du Lys, ten minutes drive from the spa town of Luchon, with superb views of the highest peaks in the area.
