- Snowshoe through spectacular Pyrenean peaks
- Walk in a small group of ten
- Relax in a comfortable mountain lodge
Almost twenty years ago, we enticed our summer walkers back to enjoy the wonderful Pyrenean Mountains but this time on snowshoes. Perfect for winter exploration, our tried and tested daywalks take us from the French spa town of Luchon to some incredible panoramas as we climb to a small peak or ridge. Whether we journey through deep snow or along well marked trails, every day our breath is taken away by the beauty of these mountains.
What makes this trip responsible?
Snowshoes are the perfect way to explore and enjoy the winter landscape while minimizing your impact. Snowshoers require no ski lifts and no groomed or maintained pistes, and their visit leaves no impact apart from tracks in the fresh snow. Snowshoers search out the quieter corners of the mountains, where development and facilities are few. As this sport continues to develop, it will offer mountain communities alternative low impact forms of winter tourism.
Rail Travel throughout Europe has never been easier and with the added benefit of reducing your carbon footprint it is a great way to reach the start point of your Exodus holiday. Daily trains take you from Paris to Luchon in comfort and with ease, avoiding the need to travel to an airport and wait for checked-in luggage.
