- Dogsledding along the Russian border
- Cosy lodge serving local dishes
- All departures guaranteed

What better way to break up the monotony of the winter months than a long weekend dogsledding through the snowy forests of Finland? Learn the basics of looking after your own team of friendly huskies during an exciting two-day husky safari in a fabulous wilderness area close to the Russian border. After harnessing and feeding your dogteam we release the brakes and the dogs become silent as we 'mush' through the beautiful snowy landscape of eastern Finland. Our trail crosses frozen lakes and goes deep into forests where the frontier zone is almost unnoticeable. The frontier zone is the biggest 'nature protection area' in the country and is home to a variety of wildlife from wolverine to bears and elks. Returning to our 'wilderness guesthouse' gives us the opportunity to relax with a sauna and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
