  This was a superb holiday from first to last. The Hotel Adler is exceptional in terms of comfort, atmosphere and particularly the food, which as a bit of a foodie I considered always good and sometimes outstanding, with a wine list of local wines to match. The snowshoeing itself was sometimes challenging, but always rewarding in terms of the matchless views when we reached the top of wherever we were trying to get to. We were extremely fortunate with a week of continuous weather, and in having a very companionable friendly group.

  A fantastic week, with spectacular scenery, great weather, a brilliant group of fellow snowshoers and an inspirational leader.  My first snowshoeing holiday, but I doubt it will be my last.

  What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

  Its a gorgeous region and loved the walking but the hotel was quite simply one of the best I have ever stayed in - loads of character, great staff, comfortable, super food and specialities. And the health suite was divine - swimming in the deserted pool at 7am, wallowing in the jacuzzi, and in the evening back in the pool, sauna and all the lovely showers and relaxing areas. Beautiful room and ensuite and balcony view over the square and hills beyond. It was a real treat
