SNOWSHOEING AT RONDABLIKK

This is a great opportunity to discover the unique majesty of the Norwegian winter landscape. Located on the edge of Norway's Rondane National Park, our base at Rondablikk offers perfect terrain for an introductory snowshoe trip. Clipping into our snowshoes at the door of the hotel, we head out across the fresh snow to explore our surroundings, breaking trails as we go. Some routes keep to the low ground, passing log cabins hidden in the forest or crossing the frozen lake, while others climb over open hillsides and ascend gently to the top of easy summits, where the views are breathtaking. We include four days snowshoeing, building up distance gradually as we explore this winter wonderland, a day to try out cross-country skiing on the excellent trails that lead from the hotel, and a free day to try the optional dogsledding.
