    There was a lot of fresh snow. This was a mixed benefit - good because it made for a spectacular environment but more challanging when you sink 12 inches into the snow with each step. Lovely area - mainly visited by Poles.

    What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
    Views of the High Tatras's on the one day it did not snow! Yomping downhill through deep snow. 
    What did you think of your group leader?
    The leader was knowledgeable and competent as you would expect from a mountain leader. He calmly dealt with a number of issues during this trip.
    Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
    Take a head torch (required as walk to  Turbacz may be completed in the dark) and also a Themos. The refuge at Turbacz is well equiped - heated with bedding & towels provided.
