- Panoramic views on varied snowshoe walks
- Stay in a remote mountain hut
- Explore charming lakeside town of Bled

Bordering Italy and Austria, the dramatic limestone peaks of the Julian Alps dominate the north-east of Slovenia. The country's highest peak Mount Triglav (2864m) is in the centre of the park, and the surrounding country offers superb snowshoeing possibilities. Trails head through peaceful forests, open meadows, alongside glacial lakes as well as higher up into the mountains themselves. Snowshoes allow us to explore areas otherwise inaccessible at this time of year. Our base for the week is just outside the lovely lakeside town of Bled, ideally located to access a huge variety of walking routes and a fantastic place to take in some local culture and wines! The highlight of the trip is a two-day expedition when we overnight in a traditional mountain hut.
Special Offer: New Year Departure - visit to Eskimo Village!

For all those booking on the 28th Dec departure there will be a complimentary visit to an igloo village in the Kranjska Gora Mountain Resort with a welcome drink included.
