PERTISAU BEGINNERS COURSE

Surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains, Pertisau offers stunning scenery and excellent cross-country skiing for beginners. This trip is ideal for those who want to learn how to cross country ski in a relaxed and fun environment. Our experienced guide will offer expert tuition and guiding throughout the week. After mastering the basics on the first two days, we move on to learning and improving our technique and confidence in the sport. All our tuition and guiding takes place in the scenic side valleys of Falzthurntal and Pletzachtal and on the stunning ‘panorama-loipe’ along the lake. Just an hour from Innsbruck, Pertisau (950m) has an enviable location on the west shore of the Achensee Lake. This attractive village has been a long favourite with cross-country skiers owing to its great variety of routes and incredible views of the Karwendel Peaks. There are several bars and hotels in the village and our base for the week is the comfortable 4-star hotel Kristall. The hotel has excellent facilities, including a sauna, steam room and pool, ensuring all our guests enjoy the excellent combination of quality accommodation and great skiing in the Austrian Tirol.
