It's amazing that Leutasch isn't better known. This high level plateau and tranquil valley is a cross country skier's mecca (the Winter Olympics have been held here twice) and offers some of the finest and most extensive trails in Europe.
As well as being a first class cross country ski centre, Leutasch also offers horse-drawn sleigh rides, tobogganing, curling, ice skating, snowshoeing, tennis and squash.
Our resident guide provides a cross country skiing programme aimed at first-timers, beginners or improvers, depending on your chosen week.
There's plenty of skiing here for all levels, with gentle plateau trails, peaceful valley runs, and more challenging routes on the wooded hillsides offering stunning valley views.
If, at any time, you feel like doing your own thing, then there's clear signposting and excellent free trail map available. There's also excellent intermediate downhill skiing in Seefeld, just 10 minutes away.
In partnership with Headwater
This trip is run in partnership with our sister company, Headwater, who offer more flexibility so you can ski as much or as little as you like. Children may join these holidays as long as they can participate in the activities and please note if travelling on your own, a single supplement will be applied. Insurance details are required at the time of booking.
What makes this trip responsible?
During this trip we stay in a family-run hotel, which is the oldest in the village and is now a preserved building. To minimise our impact we travel in a small group of only eight passengers.
NB: Please note the 2014 itinerary starts with the December 2013 departures.
