CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING: VERSCIACO SKATING COURSE

Whether you are a complete beginner to skating or would simply like to improve your technique, this is the holiday designed for you. All departures are led by Eric Woolley, an English Ski Council Tutor who has been leading our holidays for many years. He will make sure you have an enjoyable holiday while learning new skills. The course is offered at two grades: one for beginners to skating (who can already ski classic) and the other offers a mix of instruction and touring for those who would like to perfect the skating technique. Our wonderful base in Versciaco di Sopra, at approximately 1150m, allows easy access to explore the beautiful loipes of the Northern Dolomites. This small village in the Alta Pusteria Valley is situated about 4km from San Candido and our comfortable family-run hotel sits on the edge among snow-covered meadows and has a superb outlook over the mountains.

Cross-country Skiing Grades - This holiday is Grade 2+ or 3

FREE SKI HIRE
Book a flight inclusive place on the following departure: 09/01/2010 (Grade 2+), and we will deduct the equivalent cost of local ski hire from the price of the trip*.

If you are bringing your own skis, then ski carriage will be free of charge (airline usually charges £15) .
*NB: you will then still pay locally in Euros directly to the ski hire shop.
