Flights via Jo'burg with South African Airways. Transport safari vehicle, mokoro dugout canoe and on foot.
Accommodation
1 night tented lodge, 3 nights comfortable lodges, 2 nights hotels, 6 nights camping.
The lodges have en suite facilities.
The tented lodge is a fixed camp built around a permanent water hole, and has shared ablution facilities. Camping is participatory and campsites all have ablution blocks.
Swimming
In pools at Maun, Chobe and Victoria Falls.
Food
All breakfasts, 7 lunches and 7 dinners included.
Reality Check
This tour is operated in partnership with our sister company The Adventure Company (TAC), as such the group may be a mixture of Exodus and TAC clients. This trip is booked through Exodus and you will receive the same award winning customer service that you are used to. TAC operate with the same core principles used by Exodus and champion the benefits of small group travel.
Anyone in good health should be able to take part. There is no physical difficulty involved and any walks are optional. In addition to your leader, the trip is accompanied by a camp assistant, who helps with the preparation of meals and other basic camp chores. Your participation in general camp duties will nevertheless be greatly appreciated; after all it's part of the adventure! Please note that if you are aged 65 or over a medical certificate from your doctor is required.
Life jackets are provided on the mokoro (dugout canoe) ride.
Normal group size and age
Normally 4 to 12, plus leader and camp staff. Minimum age 8.

All Exodus trips are active but some may have different activities scheduled every day. Activities we offer include kayaking in Slovakia, trekking in the Drakensberg, cycling in the Tuscan countryside or canoeing along the Zambezi River.
