Botswana is a truly unforgettable pristine African wilderness. You'll visit a range of different habitats in search of animals. Travel into the beautiful Okavango Delta by mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) led by skilled polers, and learn how to steer in these twisting shallow waterways.

Head out on game drives and boat safaris to spot elephant, lion and antelope in Moremi and Chobe National Parks. Explore the desert landscapes of Deception Valley and other worldly Magadikgadi Pans, one of the largest salt flats in the world.

Meet the San, an old African tribe, and unearth their fascinating culture. Your trip ends at the mighty Victoria Falls, where the Zambezi pours into the Batoka Gorge.

OKAVANGO TO VICTORIA FALLS - FAMILY HOLIDAY

Day 1

Depart London.

Day 2

Arrive Johannesburg; fly to Maun.

Day 3

Open 4WD transfer to Moremi Game Reserve for full day wildlife spotting; game drives, overnight in a tented bush lodge.

Day 4

Morning game drive before returning to Maun.

Day 5

Okavango Delta excursion by traditional mokoro (dugout canoe) - learn how to steer with a pole; take a bush walk.

6 - 7

Drive to Central Kalahari; meet the San bushmen and explore Deception Valley.

8 - 9

Makgadikgadi Salt Pans; visit the baobab trees of Gweta and the Nata Bird Sanctuary en route.

Day
10 - 11

Drive to Kasane; game drives and river safaris to see wildlife of Chobe N.P.

Day 12

Cross the border into Zimbabwe; visit Victoria Falls.

Day 13

Free day; enjoy the falls or take part in the many activities on offer (optional).

Day 14

Fly to Johannesburg and on to London.

Day 15

Arrive London.
