Accommodation
9 nights 3 star hotels/guesthouses, 2 nights chalets.
Good standard of accommodation throughout. We stay in chalets near Addo N.P. which are situated in beautiful grounds overlooking the Sunday's River.
In Cape Town our hotel is in a central location, a few minutes walk from the restaurants and cafes of Kloof Street and the Company Gardens. The waterfront is just a short drive away.

Reality Check
This is a relaxed trip, based in standard accommodation with no strenuous activities.
Although there are a few opportunities to go on walks, all walking is optional.
This is primarily a vehicle based trip, and there is one long drive of approximately 6 hours which takes place on day 9, to Hermanus. We do break up the journey with stops and give you the opportunity to stretch your legs and purchase refreshments.
We will also stop at the different viewpoints along the route to enjoy the stunning scenery. All the roads on this trip are of a very good standard and allow for comfortable travelling.
Please note children under the age of 12 are not by law allowed to go on game walks in parks that have dangerous animals.

These holidays combine exploration with sociability and fun, as other families will join you. Minimum ages vary across the trip range, but is usually from 5 years old.
Our Family Group holidays usually cater for children from 5 years old. However, experience tells us that children tend to prefer mixing with their own age groups, especially teenagers. That’s why we’ve designated certain departures on our group trips as particularly recommended for teenagers. Whilst we don't restrict younger kids from joining these holidays, the 'recommended for teenagers' departures means there are likely to be other teenagers to share the experience with.
Wildlife: Trips may be wholly wildlife focused, or contain an element of wildlife viewing within a less specific itinerary.
All Exodus trips are active but some may have different activities scheduled every day. Activities we offer include kayaking in Slovakia, trekking in the Drakensberg, cycling in the Tuscan countryside or canoeing along the Zambezi River.
