Flights direct with Kenyan Airways Transport minibus, some long drives on good roads.
Accommodation
5 nights comfortable lodges. Our accommodation in Naivasha is full of character and set amongst stunning gardens.
Our accommodation in the Mara is beautifully located in the heart of the reserve in the path of the wildebeest migration and it is not uncommon to see game from the lodge.
Swimming
All lodges have a swimming pool.
Food
All breakfasts, 5 lunches and 5 dinners included.
Reality Check
Though many of the main roads in Kenya are paved we will be travelling along some dirt roads, namely the last section of road on the way to the Masai Mara and within the parks.
There are two long drives from Nairobi to the Masai Mara and from the Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha. Other long drives are during safaris when we are out looking for game in the parks.
There is minimal time difference and low malaria risk.

Normally 4 to 12, plus leader and driver(s). Minimum age 5.

Going on a Family Group trip is a fantastic way to meet new friends and create lasting friendships – for parents and children alike! These holidays combine exploration with sociability and fun, as other families will join you. Minimum ages vary across the trip range, but is usually from 5 years old.

Special Interest: For those who have a passion for archaeology, food, flowers, languages or yoga. Solar eclipse departures and specialist conservation holidays are also included.
Our Family Group holidays usually cater for children from 5 years old. However, experience tells us that children tend to prefer mixing with their own age groups, especially teenagers. That’s why we’ve designated certain departures on our group trips as particularly recommended for teenagers. Whilst we don't restrict younger kids from joining these holidays, the 'recommended for teenagers' departures means there are likely to be other teenagers to share the experience with.
Wildlife: Trips may be wholly wildlife focused, or contain an element of wildlife viewing within a less specific itinerary.
