Flights direct with Kenyan Airways. Transport minibus; all seats have a window, ideal for game drives.
Accommodation
1 night hotel, 6 nights lodges. All accommodation has en suite facilities and is well located. The lodge at Lake Nakuru lies at the heart of one of Kenya's most prolific wetland areas (Ramsar Sites).
Swimming
All lodges and hotels have swimming pools.

All breakfasts, 6 lunches and 6 dinners included.
Reality Check
This tour is operated in partnership with our sister company The Adventure Company (TAC), as such the group may be a mixture of Exodus and TAC clients. This trip is booked through Exodus and you will receive the same award winning customer service that you are used to. TAC operate with the same core principles used by Exodus and champion the benefits of small group travel.
There is no particular physical difficulty on this trip so it is suitable for anyone with a passion for wildlife and birdlife. Though many of the main roads in Kenya are paved, some are not in the best condition and within the parks in particular we will be travelling along dirt roads which can make travelling tiring. There are three longer drives typically of between 4 to 6 hours but there will be breaks along the way and photo stops.
There is minimal time difference and low malaria risk.

Going on a Family Group trip is a fantastic way to meet new friends and create lasting friendships – for parents and children alike! These holidays combine exploration with sociability and fun, as other families will join you. Minimum ages vary across the trip range, but is usually from 5 years old.
Exodus is always looking to improve our current itineraries and to offer something different. With many new trips this year, there is something unique and different to try every year.
Special Interest: For those who have a passion for archaeology, food, flowers, languages or yoga. Solar eclipse and Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) departures and specialist conservation holidays are also included.
Our Family Group holidays usually cater for children from 5 years old. However, experience tells us that children tend to prefer mixing with their own age groups, especially teenagers. That’s why we’ve designated certain departures on our group trips as particularly recommended for teenagers. Whilst we don't restrict younger kids from joining these holidays, the 'recommended for teenagers' departures means there are likely to be other teenagers to share the experience with.
Wildlife: Trips may be wholly wildlife focused, or contain an element of wildlife viewing within a less specific itinerary.
All Exodus trips are active but some may have different activities scheduled every day. Activities we offer include kayaking in Slovakia, trekking in the Drakensberg, cycling in the Tuscan countryside or canoeing along the Zambezi River.
