Tanzania has lots to offer the adventurous family; we have plentiful game viewing opportunities in Tarangire National Park, renowned for its elephant population, and in Lake Manyara where you may spot the famous tree-climbing lions. There's also a full day in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, spent within the steep sided crater, a natural enclosure to one of the greatest abundances of wildlife in Africa. We have an opportunity to take a cultural tour, discovering the different tribes who have settled together, while walking through farming villages and meeting local craftsmen. A highlight of this trip is a daywalk on Africa's tallest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. After all that adventure we head to the island of Zanzibar, were we can explore the bustling streets of Stone Town and relax by the crystal blue sea.

| Day 2 | Arrive Kilimanjaro and transfer to Arusha. Free afternoon to explore the town or relax by the pool. |
| Day 3 | Full day game drive in Tarangire National Park. |
| Day 4 | Full day game drive in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with ample time to explore the vast crater. |
| Day 5 | Cultural village daywalk in Mto Wa Mbu. |
| Day 6 | Morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park before returning to Arusha in the late afternoon; free time to relax. |
| Day 7 | Transfer to Marangu, after lunch a relaxing walk around the local village and surrounding countryside. |
| Day 8 | Full day walk on Mount Kilimanjaro up to Mandara hut and on to Maundi Crater. |
| Day 9 | Transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for a morning flight to Zanzibar; transfer to Kichanga Beach Resort. |
| Day 10 - 11 |
Free time to relax by the pool or on the beach, take a spice tour or hire a dhow for the day (optional). |
