Itinerary

FEA - AUSTRIAN MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE FAMILY HOLIDAY
  • Start Ötz.
    Start Saturday.
  • Activities<br />Adventure Card
Activities are booked and paid for with the pre-bookable Adventure Card, which starts you off with 24 points to use as credit against the activities on offer.
The card costs an initial price of £116 Adult (14years+) or £100 Child/Youth (3-14 years). For those wishing to take extra activities, extra points can be purchased locally at a cost of €7 Adult or €6 Child/Youth.

Please note: age restrictions vary depending on activity.
  • White Water Rafting
Min. age 12 –14 years, depending on trip
The Ötztaler Ache and the Inn rivers offer some of the finest rafting in all of Austria, and is one of the most popular destinations for white water sports in the Tirol. 4 different rafting options are available:

    Rafting Blue Water Classic
Grade III (easy to medium) 6 points

    Rafting Blue Water Exclusive
Grade III (smaller 4 person rafts) 7 points

    White Water Professional
    Grade IV-IV+ (difficult) 8 points
(+ Training trip Blue Water) (6 points)

    River Trekking
Grade II (easy difficult, 2 person rafts) 7 points
  • Mountain Biking
One of the best ways to explore any area is by bike, and this holiday is no exception. Hire a bike for a day, or a half-day, or choose to head out with one of the local guide on one of the organised trips - the points system makes things completely flexible. The soft day is the easier of the two trips with low valley prepared trails and the Sporty ride is a little tougher, with some steeper hill climbs and a longer day. Neither trip is particularly technical.

    Mountain Biking Soft ½ day
    Easy 4 points

    Mountain Biking Sporty 1 day
    Easy/medium 6 points
  • Climbing and Walking
The perfect opportunity to see your holiday from a new perspective - high up in the air, hanging by your finger tips and boots from the cliffs and ledges of the Inn valley. The Resort even has its own climbing tower for those who want to try the sport without getting too far off the ground, and if you would like to feel the ice crunching under your crampons, you can walk through crevasses and under ice cliffs on the Glacier Safari, No previous experience necessary, but a good level of fitness and comfort with heights is essential. Alternatively, you can take a more leisurely guided mountain hike through alpine meadows and trails in the Ötztaler Alpen and valleys.

    Introduction to Climbing
Easy (Climbing Tower Feelfree) 2 points

    Climbing Route ½ day
Medium/Difficult (Fixed route climbing) 6 points

    Climbing Park ½ day
    Medium/Difficult (special park) 6 points

    Glacier Safari ¾ day
    Easy/Medium 7.5 points

    Guided Mountain Hike 1 day
    Easy 4 points
  • Tandem Paragliding
    16 points
Take to the air and soar above the peaks and valleys with one of the local paraglide instructors. Depending on conditions, it's possible to hit 3000m, giving amazing panoramic views of the Ötztaler, Stubaier and even Tuxer Alpen. In fact, on a good day, you may be even to see right across to the Gross Glockner - highest peak in Austria.
  • Introduction to Archery
    2 points
Learn the basics of arching in comfort of the Nature Resort, using targets and under the mentoring of one of their instructors. A relaxing way to spend a couple of hours in the sun.
  • Sauna Nature Resort
    1.5 points
Part of the Feelfree Camp complex, this is a 4* luxury relaxation and wellness concept, and well worth a visit after a strenuous few days punishing your body canyoning, climbing and rafting. Sauna and massage bookings should be made on arrival.
  • Aqua Dome
    3.5 points
Entrance to the local thermal baths, just up the road at Lagenfeld, can be organised through the Adventure Card. Facilities include swimming in the thermally heating pools, sauna and massage services and a beauty and wellness centre.
  • End Ötz.
    End Saturday.
