One of the best ways to explore any area is by bike, and this holiday is no exception. Hire a bike for a day, or a half-day, or choose to head out with one of the local guide on one of the organised trips - the points system makes things completely flexible. The soft day is the easier of the two trips with low valley prepared trails and the Sporty ride is a little tougher, with some steeper hill climbs and a longer day. Neither trip is particularly technical.
Mountain Biking Soft ½ day
Easy 4 points
Mountain Biking Sporty 1 day
Easy/medium 6 points - Climbing and Walking
The perfect opportunity to see your holiday from a new perspective - high up in the air, hanging by your finger tips and boots from the cliffs and ledges of the Inn valley. The Resort even has its own climbing tower for those who want to try the sport without getting too far off the ground, and if you would like to feel the ice crunching under your crampons, you can walk through crevasses and under ice cliffs on the Glacier Safari, No previous experience necessary, but a good level of fitness and comfort with heights is essential. Alternatively, you can take a more leisurely guided mountain hike through alpine meadows and trails in the Ötztaler Alpen and valleys.
