Tuscany is home to some of Italy's finest cultural sites, and on this trip we have the opportunity to take in the best that this beautiful region has to offer.
We visit Tuscany's world-renowned landmarks: the spectacular hilltop town of San Gimignano with its gigantic towers, the historic town of Siena with its famous cathedral and Pisa, with its iconic leaning tower.
For a small supplement, we also have the opportunity to visit the magnificent city of Florence, with its incredible architecture and sculptures. We end our trip discovering on foot the rugged coastline of the Cinque Terre, or 'Five Lands'. Here paths, trains and boats connect the pretty coastal villages and offer amazing views over the Ligurian Sea.
Italians love their food and drink, so there is nowhere better to stay than in an agriturismo, a renovated working farm, where we will have the chance to join some pasta-making fun and sample Italy's gift to the world - pizza!
