Accommodation
Oreo Hotel, Kas
Our home for the week is the newly refurbished Oreo Hotel in Kas. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, A/C and a balcony. There is an excellent pool area and restaurant/bar. The hotel is located a little way uphill, giving fine views of the town and bay of Kas. A 10 minute walk takes us to the restaurants and harbour.

Breakfast included throughout and 1 dinner. Some excursions include lunch.
Reality Check
Summer months can be very hot so ensure everyone has good sun protection and does not get dehydrated.

Trivia
Simit bread is a circular roll, sprinkled with sesame seeds and common not only in Turkey but also Greece and some of the Balkans. The bread varies in the crunchiness of the crust and chewiness of the dough depending on where it's produced, and is often sold by street vendors, seen carrying the bread from place to place, perched atop their heads.
