Reality Check
Many of the activities have specific requirements; it is therefore important to thoroughly read the section of the Trip Notes entitled 'Land Only Itinerary'. Details of physical/medical requirements, minimum ages, duration and certification/qualifications are all listed, plus the section entitled 'What to take' should also be read thoroughly. We strongly recommend that you read the information on pages in the Family Adventures brochure before booking this holiday. Alternatively go to www.exodus.co.uk/brox-f.html. It is particularly important to note the very high temperatures in July and August. If any of your family find high temperatures difficult to cope with, then you may wish to travel at another time. As a final reminder, this is an Activity Centre holiday and the trip has a minimum number of 2 participants and no maximum. Although almost all departures consist of more than one family, it is possible that you may be the only family joining the tour. The trip has no leader or guide, but an Exodus local representative is on hand to organise activities and provide advice. Our local partner may ask you to sign an 'acknowledgement of risk' form before undertaking some of the more adventurous optional activities. In signing this you will not be limiting your legal rights, as these are governed by our booking conditions and your contract remains with Exodus.
Normal group size and age
Normally min. 2, plus appropriate local staff. Minimum age 3.
Trivia
Just 2km off the coast of Kas is the Greek island of Meis, or Kastellorizo. Every year the 'Friendship Race' is held as competitors swim or kayak this short distance.

Going on a Family Group trip is a fantastic way to meet new friends and create lasting friendships – for parents and children alike! These holidays combine exploration with sociability and fun, as other families will join you. Minimum ages vary across the trip range, but is usually from 5 years old.
Our Family Group holidays usually cater for children from 5 years old. However, experience tells us that children tend to prefer mixing with their own age groups, especially teenagers. That’s why we’ve designated certain departures on our group trips as particularly recommended for teenagers. Whilst we don't restrict younger kids from joining these holidays, the 'recommended for teenagers' departures means there are likely to be other teenagers to share the experience with.
Mixed Activities: Activities may range from the ordinary (for example walking, cycling or whitewater rafting) to the damn right extraordinary (including caving, camel riding or canyoning).
Culture: Let Exodus show you a different side to many of the world's greatest cultural attractions.
Activity Centre: If flexibility is top of your list or some of your children are very young, an Activity Centre is ideal. Try out a range of exciting, fun and educational activities from one base. You can pick and choose the activities and who in the family wants to join in. This is still an excellent way to meet other families but without pressure to join in every day. The only requirement is that at least one adult accompanies the children during the activity. The minimum age on these trips is 3, but some activities may have a higher age restriction.
Family Activity Centre: These will generally be based in small or moderately sized mid-range hotels for the entire trip. The hotels have been selected for their ideal location so you can try out a range of exciting, fun and educational activities from one central base. You are free to choose the activities and who in the family wants to join in, giving you full flexibility. The minimum age on
these trips is generally three.
