Cruising along on a houseboat through the quiet backwater canals, whilst eating some traditional Keralan food expertly prepared by your crew, is likely to be one of the highlights of your trip to south India.

Reality Check
5 hour time difference. Travelling in India can be tiring due to the heat; 1 long drive from Munnar to Madurai.
Hygiene standards are generally good, but tummy upsets are possible. A good hand-washing routine is a must.

All Exodus trips are active but some may have different activities scheduled every day. Activities we offer include kayaking in Slovakia, trekking in the Drakensberg, cycling in the Tuscan countryside or canoeing along the Zambezi River.
