Mighty mountains, thundering rivers and friendly people - Nepal is breathtaking. Explore the rural village of Nuwakot from your converted farm house. Wander amongst distinct Newari architecture in Bandipur's car-free streets, catching glimpses of the Himalayan backdrop. Of course you'll be itching to get up the hills and from the lakeside resort of Begnas we head to the Annapurna foothills for a two-day trek, with jaw-dropping views of towering snow-capped peaks. Porters carry your gear so you can relax and enjoy the scenery.

Descend into the steamy jungle of Chitwan National Park where you'll explore the waterways by dugout canoe and go in search of rhino on an elephant-back safari.

Responsible TravelWhat makes this trip responsible?

For every traveller on this trip USD5 is donated towards the Trisuli Centre which helps create additional livelihoods, including training the next generation of trekking leaders, and the village school in Nuwakot, which you may be able to visit on this trip.

Exodus Himalayan Community Support projects:
Over the last few years we have set up many projects in Nepal, and a few of our major achievements have been:
- In March 2006, we opened a new home for children (Nava Kiran Orphanage) in Kathmandu in March 2006, and now we are now involved in helping fund their education.
- Our solar cooker project is up and running in the Everest region. By spring 2011 we had installed 50 solar cookers (which use less wood and provide a safer and healthier alternative for cooking on) in the Everest region in the lodges we use, and 89 smokeless stoves to Thulopatel village.
- Since 2010 we have been helping raise money for the Esther Benjamins Trust , which provides full time care for children who are at risk of being trafficked or of domestic or sexual abuse - an indispensable safety net.
