- Hilltribe trek with elephant ride
- Kanchanaburi and 'Bridge on the River Kwai'
- Relax by the beach

From busy Bangkok with its magnificent temples and lively markets, we head west for some beautiful countryside and the slower pace of rural Thailand.
We visit the site of 'The Bridge on the River Kwai', the spectacular Erawan Waterfall and the ancient Thai capital of Ayutthaya. Then we head north exploring the Chiang Mai region on foot, and by elephant.
We walk past hilltribe villages for two days whilst exploring the surrounding area, and spend the night in a village house.
Finally we enjoy a well-earned rest by the beach at Koh Samet where there are various optional activities available.

What makes this trip responsible?
Tourism can be a real help to local communities, providing income, positive cultural exchanges and a financial incentive to protect their natural environment. Ours is a 'total approach' to responsible tourism, covering everything from the way we plan and operate our trips to the practices of Exodus as a company.
By trekking and spending the night amongst different hill tribes money is spent in the area benefiting the local community directly. We do not allow video cameras when trekking in the hilltribes as the local people can perceive them as highly intrusive.
