  What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

  It's hard to select one. The tour of the pyramids was obviously sensational, but the desert walk into the heart of Sinai was probably our favourite day. We would also recomment the add-on boat trip for snorkelling in the coral reefs.

  What did you think of your group leader?

  Indispensible, knowledgeable, & fun.

  Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

  Be prepared for 2 extra long days travelling. The travel restrictions mean that you have to go the long way round Sinai. It's enjoyable but long.

  Is there anything else you would like to add?

  Ideal holiday for a teenage family which wants to mix activity, learning & fun into a holiday.

  What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

  Really enjoyed snorkelling in the Gulf of Aqaba. I was struck by the contrast between the arid brown surface goegraphy and the vivid colours of the coral and fish below the water surface.

  What did you think of your group leader?

  Conscientious. Always concerned for our welfare and ensuring we were having a great time. Allowed democratic decisions when a choice was available to us. Knowledgeable.

  Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

  Try to travel light. Quite a lot of packing and unpacking to do.

  Other than that...immerse yourself!

  Is there anything else you would like to add?

  Travelling to and from the Sinai peninsula involved two 8-hour bus journeys. This proved to be too long and takes a chunk of time out of your week.
