Our high-calibre guides will take you on a journey back in time as you visit the ancient land of the pharaohs. We see the fabulous riches of Tutankhamun's tomb, the grand pillars of Karnak Temple and the colourful hieroglyphics that cover the tomb walls in the Valley of the Kings. We even devote a full day to exploring the awe-inspiring pyramids - an experience in itself! Moving away from the grandeur of ancient Egypt we board a felucca, a single-masted traditional sailing boat. A night spent under the stars on the Nile is a real highlight, but not for the unadventurous!

FELUCCAS, CAMELS & TEMPLES FAMILY HOLIDAY

Day 1	Fly to Cairo.
Day 2	Free morning in Cairo; afternoon tour of the famous Archaeological Museum.
Day 3	A full day at the pyramids: Saqqara, Dashour and Giza; overnight sleeper train to Aswan.
Day 4	Arrive Aswan; optional visit to Abu Simbel or free time to explore Aswan.
Day 5	Board felucca and sail down the Nile. Enjoy music and dancing around the campfire.
Day 6	Morning sailing; disembark felucca at Kom Ombo; drive to Luxor.
Day 7	Explore Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and Colossi of Memnon; afternoon camel ride on the West Bank.
Day 8	Morning visit Luxor and Karnak Temple; fly to Cairo.
Day 9	Fly to London.
