Duke of Edinburgh Recommended Adventure HolidayWith its deep winding canyons, vast russet coloured deserts and fascinating ancient ruins, Jordan is the perfect destination for a week of adventure.

This action-packed itinerary takes us cycling, canyoning, trekking, floating in the Dead Sea and more! We will have one day and night in the beautiful Wadi Rum desert, where we will enjoy a short trek, an exhilarating adventure by 4WD and a camel ride.

Hosted by the local Bedouin, we will enjoy a traditional dinner and music before a night spent under star-blanketed skies.

Our treks will explore the Dana Nature Reserve, one of Jordan's few protected areas of natural beauty, and the spectacular hidden city of Petra, a must for any visit to Jordan. For our final day we visit Amman, a vibrant city of ancient sights, shops and galleries.

What makes this trip responsible?

Our small group sizes ensure that we limit our impact on the places we visit. Throughout our visit we support the economy of small villages and communities that we pass through, using their smaller restaurants, traders and shops.
