Experience a fantastic combination of ancient cultures and amazing wildlife on this varied and interesting trip across Guatemala and Belize. Starting off in the beautiful colonial city of Antigua, we will explore the Mayan villages and markets of the volcano-studded Guatemalan highlands and cross stunning Lake Atitlan. The magical ruined city of Tikal offers a complete contrast to this mountain scenery, with steep stone pyramids poking out of the thick lowland jungle. Over the border in Belize, the lush rainforest is home to a huge variety of mammals, including jaguars, tapirs and monkeys. The trip ends with time on the beautiful beaches and reefs of the Caribbean, perfect for relaxation and snorkelling.

Day 1	Fly to Guatemala City; transfer to Antigua.
Day 2	Guided tour of La Azotea coffee and cultural museum; afternoon free.
Day 3	Full day free to explore Antigua's colonial streets and buildings.
Day 4	Transfer to Lake Atitlan; afternoon easy hike and optional canopy tour.
Day 5	Full day visit by land and boat to lakeside Indian villages of San Juan and Santiago.
Day 6	To Chichicastenango; visit traditional handicraft market; on to Guatemala City for flight to Flores.
Day 7	Day trip to Tikal to explore Mayan city and pyramids.
Day 8	Morning drive to San Ignacio, Belize; afternoon free; night walk in rainforest.
Day 9	Free day with optional excursions.
Day 10	To Belize City for flight to San Pedro on Ambergris Caye; afternoon free.
Day 11	Full day sail and snorkel trip to Caye Caulker, Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley.
Day 12	Free day to relax on the Caribbean beaches or by the pool.
Day 13	Short flight to Belize City; fly to London.
Day 14	Arrive London.
