In the highlands try whitewater rafting and relax in thermal pools close to the towering Arenal Volcano. At Monteverde visit butterfly and snake farms, marvel at the huge array of exotic hummingbirds and walk through the cloudforest. There's beach time too as we head to the Pacific at Manuel Antonio, where the jungle cascades down to join white sandy beaches.
