Accommodation
Our home for the week is a cosy, traditionally-built Greek caique (pronounced cay-eekee),16 metres long and 5 metres wide and single-masted with three sails, although we will normally be powered by the 250Hp engine.
There are 6 compact twin cabins with bunk beds below deck, 1 four-berth cabin, and a breakfast/dinner area and 2 bathrooms upstairs.
There is room to relax and stretch out on the sun deck, with mats provided. Part of the deck can be shaded.

There are plenty of opportunities for swimming.

This trip offers fabulous swimming opportunities. You should obviously ensure that you and your children are able to swim.
The minimum age on this trip is 5 years old.
There is limited space below deck so it is recommended to keep luggage to a minimum and use holdall as opposed to hard suitcase. Temperatures can get very high during the summer but there are plenty of opportunities to cool off in the sea.
Please note that sailing is not permitted by Greek Port Authorities when the wind is force 6 and over, so the itinerary and overnight stops may vary according to the weather conditions as well as the mooring space availability.
