Accommodation

Our home for the week is a comfortable, traditionally-built Greek caique (pronounced cay-eekee),16 metres long and 5 metres wide and single-masted with three sails, although we will normally be powered by the 250Hp engine. There are 8 twin cabins with bunk beds below deck and 2 bathrooms upstairs. There is ample room to relax and stretch out on the sun deck, with mats provided. Part of the deck is shaded.

Swimming

There are plenty of opportunities for swimming.

Food

All breakfasts included.

Reality Check

Children should be able to swim; triples are unavailable on the caique; minimal time difference; temperatures can get very high so ensure everyone has good sun protection and does not get dehydrated.

To the Spartan's the Doru - a long spear or lance, was an indispensable weapon in combat.
