Essential Information
Trip Profile
Flights direct with British Airways. Transport minibus, boat and on foot.
Accommodation
We spend 7 nights in a family-run 3 star hotel in Bomerano, a small village in the municipality of Agerola.
Hotel Due Torri is well known for its great local cuisine and fun pizzamaking demonstrations. All twins, singles and triple rooms have en suite facilities. The hotel is set high above the Amalfi Coast in the village of Bomerano at an altitude of approx 700m.
Being higher up in the hills offers the benefit of cooler nights, although beaches are not too far away and there is a newly built small outdoor swimming pool at the hotel.
The village is very quiet and provides a relaxing retreat from the busier towns by the sea.
Swimming
Possible at various local beaches and at the hotel.
Food
All breakfasts, 5 dinners and 4 lunches included.
Reality Check
During the days with walking included, there are transfers by minibus in order to avoid any particularly difficult terrain.
This trip is graded leisurely/moderate as it involves short day walks, however, along the 'Walk of the Gods', in places the paths are a little exposed and not suitable for severe vertigo sufferers.
Please be prepared to some drives on winding coastal roads.
In unexpected weather conditions, the boat journeys may be replaced with minibuses. Should no boats be operating, changes may have to be made to the itinerary, such as the visit to Capri Island.
Normal group size and age
Normally 4 to 16, plus leader. Minimum age 5.
Misc
The most amazing family holiday we have ever had, thank you!! For families and children, the mix of sightseeing, child friendly involvement and activites, mostly made possible by the fantastic local guide and hotelier, Nicola ,of Hotel due Torri, made every moment special and something to remember. To see the delight on a child's face, both climbing Vesuvius, but also receiving their personally inscribed 'Pizza making' certificate, having been carefully guided through the process, was worth every penny, and more!! One could not experience the essence of the Italian family, food or architecture as a lone tourist- it was the local people and hotel that made the trip worthwhile!!

Going on a Family Group trip is a fantastic way to meet new friends and create lasting friendships – for parents and children alike! These holidays combine exploration with sociability and fun, as other families will join you. Minimum ages vary across the trip range, but is usually from 5 years old.
Relaxed Itinerary: A range of itineraries seeking out intriguing and off the-beaten-path destinations in a little extra comfort!
Our Family Group holidays usually cater for children from 5 years old. However, experience tells us that children tend to prefer mixing with their own age groups, especially teenagers. That’s why we’ve designated certain departures on our group trips as particularly recommended for teenagers. Whilst we don't restrict younger kids from joining these holidays, the 'recommended for teenagers' departures means there are likely to be other teenagers to share the experience with.
Walking & Trekking: Trips are wholly trekking-focused or simply include a significant number of walking days during the itinerary.
Culture: Let Exodus show you a different side to many of the world's greatest cultural attractions.
Family Activity Centre: These will generally be based in small or moderately sized mid-range hotels for the entire trip. The hotels have been selected for their ideal location so you can try out a range of exciting, fun and educational activities from one central base. You are free to choose the activities and who in the family wants to join in, giving you full flexibility. The minimum age on
these trips is generally three.
