Flights direct with Austrian Airlines. Transport minibus, public bus, raft and on foot.
Accommodation
We spend 2 nights staying in pensions and 5 nights in simple but comfortable hotels. All rooms have en suite facilities and there are restaurants at or nearby the pensions/hotels. Two of these nights are spent in Terchova, four in the village of Tatranska Lomnica, which acts as out base for exploring the High Tatras, and our final night is in Bratislava.

Reality Check
This tour is operated in partnership with our sister company The Adventure Company (TAC), as such the group may be a mixture of Exodus and TAC clients. This trip is booked through Exodus and you will receive the same award winning customer service that you are used to. TAC operate with the same core principles used by Exodus and champion the benefits of small group travel.
This trip involves a range of cultural activities together with a number of physical activities, including walking, rafting and swimming yet the tour is well-paced and there's plenty of time for relaxing. No previous experience is required and anyone who is reasonably fit should be able to take part; however you can always opt out if you wish.
Some activities will be tailored to suit the abilities and ages of the group.

Normally 4 to 16, plus leader. Minimum age 7.

Going on a Family Group trip is a fantastic way to meet new friends and create lasting friendships – for parents and children alike! These holidays combine exploration with sociability and fun, as other families will join you. Minimum ages vary across the trip range, but is usually from 5 years old.
Exodus is always looking to improve our current itineraries and to offer something different. With many new trips this year, there is something unique and different to try every year.
Our Family Group holidays usually cater for children from 5 years old. However, experience tells us that children tend to prefer mixing with their own age groups, especially teenagers. That’s why we’ve designated certain departures on our group trips as particularly recommended for teenagers. Whilst we don't restrict younger kids from joining these holidays, the 'recommended for teenagers' departures means there are likely to be other teenagers to share the experience with.
Mixed Activities: Activities may range from the ordinary (for example walking, cycling or whitewater rafting) to the damn right extraordinary (including caving, camel riding or canyoning).

All Exodus trips are active but some may have different activities scheduled every day. Activities we offer include kayaking in Slovakia, trekking in the Drakensberg, cycling in the Tuscan countryside or canoeing along the Zambezi River.
