Reality Check

This tour is operated in partnership with our sister company The Adventure Company (TAC), as such the group may be a mixture of Exodus and TAC clients. This trip is booked through Exodus and you will receive the same award winning customer service that you are used to. TAC operate with the same core principles used by Exodus and champion the benefits of small group travel.

This trip has been graded 'leisurely' and it is suitable for all people who are in good health and fitness. Other than the steep path up Etna, most of the terrain is relatively gentle, if a bit uneven underfoot. The Mount Etna excursion invoves walking along some of the volcano's craters on hilly terrain of dried lava, rocky ash and sand. The paths are a little exposed and not suitable for severe vertigo sufferers.

In unexpected weather conditions, the excursion on Mt Etna may be replaced with an alternative activity. It can be very hot in the summer sun so be prepared; bring sunscreen and a hat and drink plenty of water to keep hydrated. Minimum age: 7 years old.
