This family holiday combines visits to awe-inspiring monuments and ancient world treasures with fun and relaxation on the Nile and by the Red Sea - a varied itinerary and a perfect introduction to a fascinating land. Egypt is a country steeped in history and charm. We delve in to the country's glorious past as we visit Giza's Great Pyramids and the grand temples and tombs at ancient Thebes. These sights (and our great guides!) never fail to captivate children and adults alike. Upstream in Aswan we travel by traditional felucca on the Nile and by camel in the desert - We always like to vary our transport! Our journey ends by the Red Sea, famed for its beaches and glorious reefs. There is time for various excursions or you can simply relax on the golden sands - the choice is yours.

| Day 4 | Optional tour to Abu Simbel or free to relax by pool. |
| Day 5 | To Luxor, visiting temples at Edfu and Kom Ombo en route. |
| Day 6 | Explore Valley of the Kings, Queen Hateshepsut's Temple and Colossi of Memnon; take a donkey ride; afternoon visit to mummification museum. |
| Day 7 | Visit temples of ancient Thebes: Karnak and Luxor temples with horse and carriage ride. |
| Day 8 | Transfer to Red Sea. |
| Day 9 | Full day free in El Gouna for optional snorkelling, boat trip or exploring desert. |
